So I couldn't really get on the computer for any length of time to post these, so here they all are in a bunch.

Day 12: How do you fight blogger fatigue.

Kind of funny that this should come up now. Obviously, I don't! I take a break. It doesn't have to be a long break. Or come up with something interesting to post about.

Day 13: Describe one under appreciated book EVERYONE should read.

I immediately went to my favorites shelf for this one. I first found this book in high school in the back of my English classroom. It's different from anything I've ever read. I usually hate time travel. There are very few such books that really catch my interest, but this is definitely one of them.

In most time travel books, you go to the past and have to worry about messing up the future, or you go to the future where everything is super advanced and shiny (or dingey if you are in the outcast part of town). But this one does something completely different.

What makes me really like this book is that the events that cause the future to be the way it is can actually happen. It's a very realistic view of what the future could eventually be minus the time travel.

If you like fantasy fiction, try to give this book a try no matter what you think about it.

Day 14: Tell us your deal breakers.

hmmm....This is a hard one. Some things that used to be deal breakers for me aren't anymore.

One of the biggest deal breakers for me though I guess is a boring summary. A lot depends on a summary. It's what gets the readers initial interest. I've had books that I gave up reading the summary half way through and then read anyways on a recommendation and absolutely loved it. If it hadn't been for the rec, I wouldn't have even tried the book. The best example that I can think of right now is The Dovekeepers.

My other deal breaker is a low Goodreads rating. If a book has a rating below 3.3 on Goodreads, I probably won't read it. There are some exceptions, but there have been few times that I've read a book below this number and absolutely loved it.

The next thing I look at are the genres of the book. If it has a genre I don't like, I might not read it. I hate reading documentaries. They are usually dry and make an exciting story boring. I would rather read a biography or historical fiction novel about the same thing.
